Hi guys! Today was such a beautiful day, warm weather and sun will automatically make you start your day off right! Except that I woke up a tad bit late ( those mornings when your '5 more minutes' turns into waking up 20 mins later in a panic..) so I just threw on whatever items I could find while brushing my hair/ putting on my shoes/losing my mind!!! It's only later on that I realized I was wearing the famous Canadian tux, which consists of wearing a jeans-on-jeans outfit. It used to be considered a fashion faux pas but, I have seen it a lot lately and I think it looks really good and if you know me you know I don't suggest following those 'fashion rules' anyway!

Here's my very first W.I.W (What I Wore). I had on my 'varnish effect' trouser, but it looks more like they're leather pants, a little flowy polka dots top, brown sandals (yes, I know, not quite the weather to be wearing them but, it wasn't that cold....) and my black bag. I had my navy blue double breasted coat on also.

P.S My feet are not ashy, that's the light. I could never!!!

I apologize for the lack of posting, don't really have any excuses other than I wasn't feeling it (bloggers will understand what I mean by that) sometimes you're just not that into it! But there was always something off, whether it be the size, too big or too small, or the price which made me uncomfortable about paying anywhere near 40-60$!!! I AM NOT MY HAIR

So, it's that time of the year again, you know, that time when you get really bored with your hair and you need something new! I'm currently in that phase. I'm BSL (bra strap lenght) hair which is considered long for some people and I would have absolutely no problem what so ever in cutting it. For me hair is just hair, I've had long hair, really short natural hair, short and mid-lenght bobs and even an afro! Yes hair does define your personality and your style but it shouldn't define you as a person. I might start out with a nice clean asymmetrical bob and ad a little bit of colour, a nice new look for summer!

It's only later that I realized that everything I bought was in the same color palette!! Everything is in this bright/coral pink going from lighter shades to darker ones like shades of caramel/beige. Well, well, well, look at me getting my shoe-addiction on! I love these ankle boots styles, I BEEN loving them but the only problem was always the heels, see I'm kinda tall, well not really. I'm almost 5'8, so imagine me in a 5 inch shoe, yeah you get the visual, no thanks! So you can understand my excitement when I saw these, they're in the low heel category( 0 to 1.5 in.). Perfection! Yesterday the fashion world suffered a great lost with the untimely death of the genius that was Alexander McQueen. He was one of the few designers that still had the ability to get us excited for fashion week to see what would his new collection be. Known for his dark, gothic references he made us believe and feel that dark, different could also be synonym to beauty. Here's two of his last post on twitter:

Yes you're right she's a 'nobody' (btw what exactly makes you 'somebody' or a 'nobody', whats the criteria??!) anyways ... Her style is on point no ifs or buts, she knows exactly what compliments her shape and she always put her own little twist to whatever she's wearing. She's often seen wearing vests or boyfriend blazers with her outfits, even though she's almost always in black she knows how to spice it up with a little bit of color

For some reasons I've been obssessed with jumpsuits! They're so chic but yet comfortable, stylish but yet casual you can dress them up or down depending on the accesories and they pretty much compliment every shapes..dont you just love it!

As a new feature I will be doing some 'fashionbooking' A.K.A posting pictures of stylish people on facebook. As my first fashionbook victim i choose this young girl right here. She's from Europe( no wonder she's so fly). There was soo many pictures to choose from but I don't know why this one caught my eye, maybe it was the fact that she's just sitting there not even posing or maybe it was her effortless style with key pieces all put together and she's still looking low-key but so cool or maybe it was her sense of the details(peep the stars earrings)! That's when you can tell that someone got a fashion sense, when you don't quite know what it is but you looking at the person like damn I like her style

So, I'm downtown right, I decide to go to the library with Juny and all of a sudden I spot these two girls. I'm like damn they got got style!! After I low-key stalk them I decide to go ask them if I can take their pictures. After a little bit of convincing they agree and voila!

They have that 'Je-ne-sais-quoi' about them that makes them look cool without even trying!
